Hello!

I’m Don Stewart and I launched ArtistChronicle.com, together with my YouTube channel, as a way to share my oil painting technique.

Soon I was exploring art venues and interviewing other artists to chronicle their methods as well. I hope the culmination of it all will inspire you, entertain and inform. Have fun!

I love to paint and can’t remember a time when I wasn’t creating a work of art for one purpose or another. For over 20 years it’s been for the illustration field and nearly 100 of my paintings have been published as book covers. Countless paintings have also been published as illustrations for magazines and advertising and my digital paintings and technique have been featured in the last five consecutive editions of The Painter Wow! Book. Since 2006 I’ve devoted myself to creating works of Fine art. In addition to painting as much as I can, I teach drawing and oil painting, publish the ArtistChronicle eNewsletter and host episodes for the ArtistChronicle channel on YouTube.
