Meet four of the potters at Lyndon Street Artworks, follow them as they do a firing and learn how to create pottery in the process. Discussion includes bisque, glazes, cones and kiln temperature, reduction vs oxidation. Also, see the inside of their gas kiln and learn about it, too. William Black, Jim Gutsell, Susan Ridenour and Jim Petersen are the potters and this is part 1 of 2. Part 2 is posted below this one.
